Mark your calendars for September 29th as the candidates face off in Cleveland, Ohio

WASHINGTON — The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), a non-profit, nonpartisan organization, has announced the dates, times, and locations for the four general election debates sponsored by the CPD.

The first debate will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. The debate will begin at 9:00 p.m. EDT and will be 90 minutes long.

The format of the debate will be as follows: The candidates will each have two minutes to deliver an opening statement. The moderator will then ask a question to one candidate, who will have two minutes to respond. The other candidate will then have two minutes to respond. The moderator will then ask a follow-up question to the first candidate, who will have one minute to respond. The other candidate will then have one minute to respond.

The debate will be moderated by Chris Wallace of Fox News.

The remaining three debates will be held on October 7, 15, and 22, 2020.
